Why Is Ranked Play Down on MW2 & Warzone 2?

According to a Twitter post from Treyarch Studios, Ranked Play was temporarily offline during a Playlist downtime. Therefore, you won’t be able to see it in the current Playlist until the proper updates have been installed.

Although Treyarch Studios indicated an online status for Ranked Play at the start of Season 4, it looks like it wasn’t quite ready, as the option was not yet available at launch. Fortunately, the servers are now back online, so you can return to the competitive match with the latest seasonal mechanics. Those who don’t see Ranked Play in the Playlist must restart the game to ensure the new update is installed.

Longtime players will notice new seasonal rewards in Ranked Play, providing them with even more goodies for their equipment. On the other hand, further changes will be introduced to improve the mode’s performance, such as increased player health and a rejoin Beta feature.

That does it for our guide on why Ranked Play on MW2 and Warzone 2 is down. For more content, be sure to explore the relevant links below, including all map changes to Caldera in Season 4.
