    Devil May Cry 5 Producer Matt Walker recently spoke to VG24/7 about Capcom's reception of Ninja Theory's reboot, DmC, and what is influencing the combat in the upcoming sequel. The initial fan reaction to DmC's reveal was anything less than stellar, with many fans demanding a return to the original continuity. Capcom may have returned the series' roots with DMC5, but that does not mean that Capcom has written off Ninja Theory's critically-acclaimed entry.

    Gamescom 2018, Germany's premier games convention, is just around the corner. THQ has decided to build the hype early with a little trailer showcasing their lineup for the show.  THQ's biggest title of the fall, Darksiders 3 is set to be their heavy hitter, but THQ has more up their sleeve. Biomutant, THQ's action-rpg which first debuted at Gamescom 2017 will be making an appearance alongside Fade To Silence, Wreckfest, Generation Zero, and Townsmen VR.

    A new adventure in the Mega Man X series may be on the way, as possibly teased in the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 soundtrack booklet that has broken street date in Japan. Mega Man fan blog Rockman Corner received a translation from an image of the album booklet posted by Twitter user guu_tara.

    Indie developer The Voxel Agents has announced that their new time-altering puzzle platformer, The Gardens Between, is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Working with a rotating 3D plane, reminiscent of Fez or Toad's Treasure Tracker, players will play with time to make their way through a series of garden islands.

    Overcooked Publisher Drops “Fails” Trailer for Mugsters; Launching July 17

    Fail and fail again when British indie publisher Team17 and developer Reinkout Games launches Mugsters next week, on July 17. Mugsters is a complete solo project by Finish developer Riku Tamminen of Reinkout Games, and is an isometric action-puzzler that looks to be a cross between the Square Enix GO games and Team17's own The Escapists.
