It seems incredibly unlikely that Nintendo – both the developers and the publishers – want to move away from a series so successful and presumably lucrative.
A recent Game Informer interview with producer Eiji Anouma revealed that the success of Breath of the Wild and TOTK had guaranteed the future of the series, with the team now favoring the same familiar open-world approach for all future installments. As of now, there’s no way to know for sure what the development team has planned exactly, but more games seem a pretty safe bet.
