There are plenty of side quests to complete to help you earn experience and hear a good story in Hogwarts Legacy. Most of them are short and sweet, but often provide some neat rewards, and we’d definitely recommend doing as many as you can. How to Unlock Ghost of Our Love Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
The Ghost of Our Love side quest will get unlocked automatically as you play through the main story of Hogwarts Legacy. To be exact, you’ll need to make it to the following house questlines in order to activate it:
- Gryffindor Quest: The Hunt for the Missing Pages.
- Hufflepuff Quest: Prisoner of Love.
- Ravenclaw Quest: Ollivander’s Heirloom.
- Slytherin Quest: Scrope’s Last Hope.
When you do, you’ll eventually get a message via Owl post. Essentially, as long as you’re following the main story markers, you’ll eventually be tasked with helping Scrope investigate a grotto, and you’ll come across a treasure map.
Inspecting this shows a forest in the upper left-hand corner, a wand with an arrow to some candles in the center, an archway, and a bridge. Finding this floating candles treasure map in Hogwarts Legacy triggers the start of Ghost of Our Love.
This quest tasks you with locating a bridge with floating candles. This is the puzzle element of the side quest, which when solved, will show you where the treasure can be found.
Floating Candles Map Solution in Hogwarts Legacy’s Ghost of Our Love Quest
To solve this treasure map, all you have to do is fast travel to the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame, and wait until dusk or nighttime. You can change time of day in Hogwarts Legacy by opening the map, pressing R3/ RS and following the on-screen prompts.
Once it gets dark, you should see some candles near the bridge. Cast Lumos and the three floating candles will then begin leading you into the Forbidden Forest.
Keep following them and you’ll eventually be brought to a romantic little spot, with some chairs, a table, and a little candle sitting atop it. How adorable!
Once you’ve arrived, simply interact with the treasure chest to get the Treasure-Seeker’s Scarf.
It’s a very small reward and it won’t grant you any stat boosts or special magic abilities, but it’s still worth the time if you’re looking to 100% the game.
