Yellowstone’s ‘1923’ Prequel Release DAte

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we now know that Yellowstone’s 1923 prequel comes out on Dec. 18, 2022, and that it will be available exclusively on the streaming platform Paramount Plus. There has yet to be a trailer for the prequel; however, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some information for Yellowstone fans to chew on, as the main cast has been revealed, and it features some impressive gets for the show.

Is Harrison Ford in 1923? Answered

Yes, Harrison Ford is set to portray the character of Jacob Dutton. Intrestingly enough, he isn’t the only notable celebrity in the cast, as his character’s wife, Cara Dutton, will be played by Oscar and BAFTA winner Helen Mirren.

1923 will reportedly be about the Dutton family, who is forced to deal with the difficulties of the titular year, which includes events such as the Great Depression and Prohibition. The Duttons are lead by father and mother, Jacob and Cara Dutton, with the series exploring the lives of other family members as well. The prequel series is currently set to have a two-season run, with eight episodes in each season.
