During the Tales of the Jedi Panel at Star Wars Celebration, supervising director, Dave Filoni described the juxtaposition of Ahsoka and Dooku’s decisions and experiences as “two paths and two choices.” Filoni, a long-time Star Wars storyteller at the helm of the animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels, compared these episodes to “tone poems” and acknowledged George Lucas’s continuing influence.
