Marvel Snap is a new digital card battler from Second Dinner and Ben Brode, and it features over 100 cards for players to collect. Expanding your collection is a big part of the game’s appeal, so here’s how you can get new cards quickly in Marvel Snap.
Unlocking Cards in Marvel Snap
In order to get new cards in Marvel Snap, you’ll need to increase your Collection Level. This is the number indicated in green at the top of the screen, and as you increase your CL, you’ll unlock new rewards on the Collection track, including new cards.
And in order to increase your CL, you can do so by upgrading your cards with Credits and Boosters. Access your card collection, choose a card you want to upgrade, then tap the Upgrade button to spend your Credits and Boosters on it. Depending on the rarity of your card, you’ll gain varying amounts of CL:
- Uncommon: 25 Credits, 1 CL
- Rare: 100 Credits, 2 CL
- Epic: 200 Credits, 4 CL
- Legendary: 300 Credits, 6 CL
- Ultra-Legendary: 400 Credits, 8 CL
- Infinity: 500 Credits, 10 CL
How to Get Credits in Marvel Snap
There are two main ways of getting Credits in this game:
- By purchasing them with Gold and real money
- By completing daily missions
Daily missions are definitely the way to go if you’re an F2P player. Each day, you’ll get six mission to complete, and these reward you with Credits and Season Pass XP.
Alternatively, you can also purchase Gold with real money, and use Gold to purchase Credits. Do be aware that there is a Credit cap each day, so you won’t be able to just drop thousands of dollars on day one to complete your collection immediately.
How to Unlock Cards Efficiently
Finally, here are a couple of simple tips on how to maximize your CL gains while trying to expand your card collection.
You’ll definitely want to prioritize upgrading your common cards first, as the Credit to CL ratio is the best here. You’ll only need 25 Credits for 1 CL when upgrading common cards, and the ratio goes up to 50:1 after the common tier.
As you unlock card variants from the Collection track and Season Pass caches, those will start as common cards as well, so we recommend upgrading those once to get the most out of your Credits.
