Gotham Knights is upon us, bringing that familiar Arkham blend of combat and dark skies. So with combat being such a big component of the game, maintaining high amounts of health is incredibly important. That’s why this guide is here to break down how to heal your health in Gotham Knights.
How to Restore Health in Gotham Knights
To heal yourself in Gotham Knights, simply press right on the d-pad. Each character—regardless of whether it’s Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, or Red Hood—do start with their own health packs. Every once in a while, though, players will run out of them. But when that happens, don’t panic. Replacing them has arguably never been easier.
If you’re looking to replenish your stock, though, simply return to the Belfry after patrolling the city for the evening.
Not only that, but players can also sometimes find health packs dropped by fallen enemies or next to ambulances. That said, your best bet is returning to the Belfry when it’s all said and done. Whenever you’re out on patrol, be sure you’re aware of how much (or how little) health you have left.
It’s also worth noting that Nightwing has a ‘Mind and Body’ ability that can be unlocked which restores a portion of your health when using Momentum Abilities. His ‘Revive Darts’ ability can also revive an ally from afar, but can only be used once per night.
Batgirl, on the other hand, has a ‘Second Wind’ ability that allows her to revive herself once after her health is depleted. She’ll be revived with 50% health when this occurs. Her ‘Super Health Packs’ ability also means health packs will provide an extra 20% health and a 50% defense increase for 10 seconds. ‘Health Packs +’ increases health pack efficiency by a further 20% and ensures that they also heal allies close to Batgirl when used.
Unfortunately, both Red Hood and Robin don’t have any health-based abilities that you can unlock.
How to Increase Max Health in Gotham Knights
You can only increase the max, base health of specific Heroes in Gotham Knights. Specifically, you can increase Batgirl’s max health by 40% by purchasing the HP+ ability from the ‘Grit’ skill tree (the middle one).
The other characters — Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood, don’t have an ability that increases their max health unfortunately, so you’ll just have to deal with the amount of health each of these has.
That’s all players need to know in order to heal your health in Gotham Knights.
