Can You Change Character Costumes in Gotham Knights?

We’ve got some good news and bad news on this one. The bad news is that you can’t change the physical appearance of any of the heroes, and by that we mean you can’t change their hairstyles, hair color, height, weight and facial characteristics.

The good news is that character costumes/appearances can be changed whenever you want in Gotham Knights. On top of that, unless you choose to use a Transmog costume (basically a different costume than the one you put on) the game will be constantly giving you other suits.

All gear in Gotham Knights is cosmetic. Suits, ranged weapons (for just about everyone), and melee weapons are all cosmetic. Meaning when you craft a new suit or a new weapon, it changes the look. While you can of course change the suit you are wearing with the Transmog options, your look will otherwise adjust to whatever outfit you have on.

So while, yes, you can change your look, just the act of swapping out gear will change your character’s appearance. This will happen rather constantly, as each new character level brings new gear to craft and equip. We have a more in-depth guide on how to actually change your suits and get more outfits.

That is everything you need to know about if you can change character appearances in Gotham Knights. If you’re preordered the game digitally and are unsure about when it will unlock, we have the necessary information.
