To complete the challenge, the Gaze Holders must stand in a pool of light when Golgoroth’s Gaze is taken from them. It’s a very straight-forward requirement that doesn’t take a lot of effort to complete. The only difficulty lies in Golgoroth’s poison darts, which will be much more deadly the closer you are to him. However, there’s a few ways to go about this with ease.

This challenge solely relies on the two Gaze Holders swapping the buff back and forth. Since they now have to be in the Pool of Light to swap the buff to keep the challenge going, they’ll be at the mercy of Golgoroth’s poison darts as we’ve discussed. The best strategy here would to be use maximum healing builds. Loreley Titans and Well of Radiance Warlocks are a great example to use. They have the best healing abilities in the game and can safely maneuver around Golgoroth without having to worry about the damage from his poison.

When moving towards the Pool of Light to swap the buff, another good strategy would be to throw a healing grenade down at the Pool as you arrive. This will allow you and your teammates in the Pool dealing damage to Golgoroth to heal in case they get hit by one of his poison darts. Continue to do this until you finally defeat him and you will have completed the Gaze Amaze challenge.

One crucial fact to keep in mind, if you are attempting this challenge on the Master difficulty of the Raid, Champion enemies will now spawn throughout the fight. Usually, as Golgoroth becomes ready to grab his gaze, two Knights will spawn on the left and right sides of the room. On the Master difficulty, these knights have been replaced by Anti-Barrier Knights. Use weapons like Arbalest to deal with these Knights quickly before moving onto Golgoroth.
