Daredevil has finally made his long-awaited appearance in Disney+’s She-Hulk series, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. While he’s still being played by actor Charlie Cox, there is one key difference in his appearance. Here’s why Daredevil’s suit is yellow in She-Hulk.
Daredevil’s Yellow Suit in She-Hulk Explained
When Daredevil finally shows up, we see that instead of the classic all-red costume that he usually wears, his mask is a shade of gold instead. It’s likely that Daredevil opted to go for the red and yellow ensemble for his costume as a tribute to his dead father, Jack.
According to the comics, Matt Murdock has fashioned his suit out of his father’s boxing attire, which had shades of yellow and gold. He did this to honor his father and remember him, while also reminding himself why he was protecting Hell’s Kitchen.
In the Daredevil Netflix series, we also see that Jack had a yellow trim around his boxing hood. While the origin of his yellow suit isn’t explained in She-Hulk, it’s highly likely that this is the reason why.
