The end is nigh in Call of Duty Warzone Season 5. The newest season has brought a bunch of changes to the core gameplay and a bevy of new cosmetics pitting good against evil as CoD gears up for the next entry, Modern Warfare 2. Last Call also brings a new limited-time game mode, Operation: Last Call, which might be Warzone’s biggest mode yet. In case you missed it, here’s everything you need to know on Operation: Last Call and how to play the new mode.
Operation: Last Call Explained
Operation: Last Call is the biggest game of Search and Destroy to date. The new limited-time game mode pits 80 players on the newly update Caldera and tasks them with planting or defusing bombs across the map. The choice is yours on whether or not you decided to be the savior or the destroyer of Caldera.
The new mode is tied into the new seasonal event, Heroes vs. Villains. As you play Warzone, the enemies who’re killed will drop a “Hero” or “Villain” token. Picking up one of these tokens will fill a community wide challenge with the victors earning a special blueprint in-game when the event ends in a little over two weeks. There are also a few in-game collectables to earn as you collect more tokens during your playtime.
That’s everything you need to know on the new limited-time game mode, Operation Last Call. Season 5 is off to a big start so be sure to check out everything you might’ve missed such as the full patch notes, all the battle pass rewards and who the newest operator is.
