How to Play Knucklebones

Cult of the Lamb’s Knucklebones is a gambling minigame that you can only play at Ratau’s shack (Lonely Shack from the portal). This activity is also a quick way to earn some coins for your cult to improve your animalistic domain.

To start the game, you’ll need to approach the board and select an opponent you wish to battle against, where you’ll eventually see a layout of two 3×3 grids.

Next, the player will place the dice on an empty quadrant once it is their turn to throw the item (you’ll take turns with each round).

The goal of Knucklebones is to get the highest number in a column by filling your sections with your dice. If you place dice of the same number in the same column, this multiplies their value. However, your opponent can destroy your dice — and vice-versa — by placing a dice of the same number as yours in their column opposite yours.

The person with the highest total score by the time one of you has filled their 3×3 grid, wins.

With this in mind, players should plan ahead before doing things rashly because Knucklebones is all about strategizing and using various methods that are best for you. In addition, you’ll unlock more characters to play against the more you participate in crusades and advance further in the story.
