WB Montreal’s next game set in the Batman universe, Gotham Knights, is fast-approaching its targeted release date of Oct. 25, 2022. Set in a timeline separate from Rocksteady’s titular Arkham series, Gotham Knights sees the Bat Family step up to protect Gotham City after the death of Batman and Commissioner Jim Gordon. At the moment, there are four confirmed playable characters that players will be able to prowl Gotham City with, and in case you missed it, here are all of the playable characters in Gotham Knights.
Batgirl
All Playable Hero Characters in Gotham Knights
Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl is donning the cowl to protect Gotham City. Following the incident that put her in a wheelchair, she trained rigorously to recover and jumped back into the field to put her unique skills to good use. Her time as the Oracle honed her hacking skills while she’s no slouch in combat with a wide variety of ranged and close quarters combat options to send the bad guys flying.
Robin
All Playable Hero Characters in Gotham Knights
Tim Drake aka Robin may be the youngest in the family, but he’s no pushover. He’s armed to the teeth with a quarterstaff, is highly trained in the art of stealth and psychological warfare and has access to the Justice League’s teleporting machinery which allows him to teleport short distances. Quick and deadly is the name of his game.
Red Hood
All Playable Hero Characters in Gotham Knights
Jason Todd aka Red Hood, anti-hero turned borderline zombie. After dying and being resurrected, Jason Todd has found himself an integral part of the Bat Family after aligning with their goal of non lethally protecting Gotham. Jason Todd loaded up his firearms with nonlethal rounds to abide by non lethality while his resurrection infused him with soul energy that gives him the upper hand in combat.
Nightwing
All Playable Hero Characters in Gotham Knights
Dick Grayson aka Nightwing is Robin all grown up. Nightwing will heavily lean into his acrobatic uprising as he dismantles his foes along with the use of his dual escrima sticks. His desire to protect Gotham is strong and, with Batman mysteriously deceased, Nightwing will do whatever he can to keep Gotham’s citizens safe.
That’s everything we know about who are all of the playable characters in Gotham Knights. At this current moment, WB Montreal hasn’t dropped any mention of future heroes being added to the mix so only time will tell if the four-man roster stays.
