There are a total of six Badges that you need to get to complete your quest in Stray. These items include Music, Outsider, Plant, Cat, Police, and Neco. Some of them can be easy to receive, while others follow a more intricate process.

To ensure you have an easier time, we’ll detail every Badge’s location and requirements.

The Music Badge can be obtained by collecting all eight Musical Sheets for Morusque, which you can find by exploring The Slums. If you want to know the exact areas of these sheets, you can look at our guide about each of their locations within Stray and acquire the Meowlody Trophy.

Outsider Badge

The Outsider Badge is reasonably easy to receive since it is automatically given to you once you help Seamus in his quest to find his father. You’ll need to follow the robot, and he will offer the Badge to you during Chapter 7.

Plant Badge

Players can get the Plant Badge by acquiring three different colored flowers in Chapter 9 of Antvillage. Those who need help finding each component can follow our guide on where to find the red, yellow, and purple plants.

Since this is a game about a feline character, there had to be at least one cat-themed Badge.

When you first enter Midtown, you’ll see a robot talking to a merchant through an open window. The only way to get the Cat Badge is by going into the room where the merchant is.

After you’ve gone inside, you can look up to see a safe with the item inside. Then, you must enter the box’s Digicode: 8542, and you will now have the Cat Badge.

Another collectible Badge of Stray can be found while exploring Midtown. The first thing you must do is find a giant holographic robot in the middle of several shops.

Once you locate the holographic robot, try to find a directional arrow sign and go down the narrow alleyway.

One of the last few steps you have to do is climb up the air vents in the alleyway, and you should see a jail-like window, as shown here:

Go inside the window and find a dead robot in a jail cell with the Police Badge.

Neco Badge

The Neco Badge might be difficult to obtain since you’ll need to sneak through the factory by avoiding the Sentinels.

If you haven’t unlocked the area already, you must find Clementine in Midtown to talk with her contact. After you’ve done that, you’ll have to get the Worker Jacket and Helmet for the robot to complete the infiltration.

Once you’ve finally made it inside, you must explore the heavily guarded place to find an open door, as shown here:

You’ll meet a robot worker that has lost his keys, prompting the quest for the Neco Badge. To find this item, you must go deeper into the factory and locate a set of barrels in the water, where the keys can be found on a pile of trash.

The final step requires you to loop back around to the worker and return his keys. Remember that you’ll need to avoid the Sentinels to make it back safely and successfully.

If you made your way back to the robot, he will give you the Neco Badge, finishing your journey with the Badge trophy.
