Despite having initially been pitched as a mobile-only title, Blizzard’s latest Diablo game is available on both PC and mobile platforms. Thankfully, the game offers full cross-progression across both platforms and it features cross-play between each as well. So you’re clear on the process, though, here’s how to play cross-play in Diablo Immortal between PC and Mobile.
How to Play PC & Mobile Cross-Play Multiplayer in Diablo Immortal
Cross-play in Diablo Immortal isn’t something you have to activate, nor is there a dedicated server that features the functionality. Instead, all players will encounter those playing from other platforms; it’s possible to link up with players on different hardware so long as they are playing on the same server as you. You can find out more about the game’s various servers in our dedicated article here.
As for cross-progression, the functionality works so long as you’re making sure to sign into the game using your Battle.net account. Do note that by default, you’ll be logged into a guest account, so again, make sure it’s the same as your battle.net account to ensure your progress is saved between platforms.
The official word was outlined in a blog post about cross-platform in which Blizzard said: “Alternatively, if you start playing Diablo Immortal on mobile, you may either sign in to your Battle.net account or you will be supplied a guest account. If you have a Battle.net account, then you will be able to seamlessly transfer in-between playing on either platform simply by logging into your Battle.net account.”
To sign-up for a Battle.net account, visit the official Blizzard website.
