Before we do any jumping we must first “Establish Device Uplink near a Seven Outpost.” As you might know from previous quests, there are six Seven Outposts around the edges of the map. Here are those exact locations:

We picked the Seven Outpost to the west north of Camp Cuddle as it’s close enough to Command Cavern that you will most likely get people going there instead.

At this Seven Outpost, you will find the Hologram Audio Log behind this building.

  1. Touching the Hologram Audio Log will give you the actual quest objective.

We must now “Jump nearby a seismometer.”

  2. Fortunately this quest can also be done at every Seven Outpost so you don’t have to leave to complete it.

  3. Only a little bit away from the Hologram Audio Log will be this Seismometer on the ground.

  4. While it does say “jump nearby,” we jumped over the Seismometer and it counted without any problems.

That is most certainly all the information possibly needed when it comes to how to jump nearby a Seismometer in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. Be sure to check Twinfinite next week as we bring you guides on the week ten Resistance quests.
