You can heal and restore health in one of two ways in Evil Dead the Game. The first revolves around your inventory.

If you have a healing item in your inventory, simply press ‘up’ on the d-pad to fire up a short animation that will heal you. As always, be careful when doing this, as you’re vulnerable to attack during this animation.

As you’re exploring the map, be on the look out for healing items, which are just referred to as Shemp’s Colas in the game. Pick them up by holding down the triangle or Y button, and it’ll be added to your healing item slot. After that, you can press up on the d-pad to use it to restore health.
