Fortunately, you can switch back and forth between the updated and original graphics in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. That means if you have already started the game, you can still change the style.

  1. Open the main menu for Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.

This is the menu that lets you choose between playing Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers.

  2. Select “Settings” on this main menu.

One of the options will be about graphics style.

  3. Simply select that you want to play with the original graphics.

You should keep in mind that this setting toggles everything to the old style: original character models, character illustrations, cutscenes, and pixel font. These cannot be toggled independently of each other.

It is important to note that if you decide you want to switch back to the new graphics style, the method is the same for changing it back.
