Today during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, a follow-up game to the sci-fi thriller Deliver Us the Moon was announced. It’s called Deliver Us Mars, and during the show, we got our first look at it with a two-minute teaser announcement trailer.
The first thing we see in the teaser trailer is a barren, red planet with the remains of some sort of ship torn apart on the surface. The only apparent survivor appears to be an astronaut who we see making her way up a small hill. She comes across a small round robot that blinks and awakens with her touch.
The teaser trailer ends with the astronaut and robot looking out towards a huge, faraway dust storm, which reveals some sort of settlement or structure in the distance. We can tell that their journey is going to be a difficult one.
Here’s what the official description of Deliver Us Mars has to say about the main mission of the game:
Ten years after the Fortuna mission, humanity is closer than ever to extinction. After a mysterious distress call from Mars, join the Zephyr and its crew as they journey to the red planet and seek to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward, and with them, ensure the survival of the human race.
Developer KeokeN Interactive promises a “handcrafted, delivering a suspense-filled, emotion-fuelled narrative.”
Deliver Us Mars will release on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
