Where to Destroy Seven Computers & Machinery for Data Chips in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

As you will find out, the opening objective of Establishing Device Uplink is the simple objective, the quest quest is after.

Before getting to the real quest, your objective is to “Establish a Device Uplink near Sanctuary, Seven Outpost II, or Synapse Station”.

Here’s a map with those locations highlighted so you can plan ahead:

We chose the spot just north of the Synapse Station label. Upon nearing that marker you will see a projected hologram, touching it plays an audio log that gives you your next (and real) objective.

From here your quest will update to “Destroy Seven computers and machinery to collect dropped Data Chips”. These are different than the collectible Omni Chips found in the game.

There are plenty of computers to break for the Data Chips. To find them, you are looking for the vertical, podium computers:

But you can also choose to break the tables with the built-in monitor:

Either way, once you break the computers and collect the three dropped Data Chips, the mission will complete and it will unlock mission to be done in the questline.
