Following the side quest that first introduces the Kodama Yokai to the players, these creatures will start appearing throughout the world in need of your aid.

Unlike some of the other Yokai like the Kappa, the Kodama is not interested in hurting the player or escaping. Instead, it is in need of protection, with the Visitors keen on killing it to absorb its power for their nefarious uses.

  1. Talk to the protector of the Sacred Tree.

  2. Defend it against the Visitors.

  3. Absorb the Kodoma.
