Prior to its official release this week, Square Enix released a prologue demo for Triangle Strategy, enabling players to get a feel for the gameplay of the 2D-HD title coming from the publisher and developer Artdink. This enabled players to try the first three chapters of the game’s story completely free, with an added bonus of being able to carry this progress over to the full game upon release. In this guide, we’ll explain how to import prologue save data in Triangle Strategy so you can pick up exactly where you left off in the demo.
Importing Prologue Demo Save Data in Triangle Strategy
- When you first load up the game, you’ll be prompted to start from where you left off in the Prologue Demo. Select ‘Yes’ to import it.
Keep in mind, you’ll need to be playing on the Nintendo Switch console that contains the prologue demo save data. If you’ve upgraded to a new OLED Switch, for example, since you played, you’ll need to transfer that save data over.
- If you choose ‘No,’ don’t worry. You can still choose to import your Prologue Demo Save Data from the ‘Start With Demo Save Data’ option on the main menu at any point.
Are There Any Bonuses for Importing Your Prologue Demo Save?
Outside of allowing you to pick up the adventure where you left off in the demo, there aren’t any bonus items or anything in-game that you’ll get for doing it.
This just allows you to save time on your adventure and not have to play through the first three chapters again.
That’s everything you need to know on importing Triangle Strategy prologue demo save data into the full game. For more tips, tricks and guides, be sure to search for Twinfinite, or see more of our coverage on Square Enix’s latest epic 2D-HD RPG below.
