We start with a release, and it’s Kikai Airport (RJKI) in Japan by Simulación Extrema. As one of the small airports in the Japanese southern island, it’s enriched by beautiful surroundings and scenic approaches.

It’s also interesting as it’s just a short hop away (operated by Japan Air Commuter’s ATR 42’s) from the nearby Amami Airport, available from the same developer.

This one can be purchased only on the official marketplace for both PC and Xbox for roughly $11 plus applicable VAT.

Next we take a look at the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang, and its Sunan International Airport (ZKPY) by SamScene3D. As a bonus, we also get a screenshot of Busan (the fourth in the gallery below) in South Korea.

Last, but not least we close this Asia-focused day of news with the first two screenshots of Kaohsiung International Airport (RCKH) by ACO Design Studio.

It’s the second-busiest airport in Taiwan, so it’ll certainly be an interesting addition for those who like to fly in the country.

It’ll release in March 2022 for both PC and Xbox.

Recently, we published our latest interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and we heard more about Microsoft’s plans for the next few months, including World Update Australia.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
