Evolving Bonsly into Sudowoodo in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

First things first, it’s important to be aware that Bonsly is a version exclusive Pokemon. You’ll only be able to catch it in the wild if you’re playing Shining Pearl, so you’ll probably have to get it in a trade if you’ve got Brilliant Diamond.

With that out of the way, the good news is that Bonsly isn’t too hard to evolve at all. It just need to know the move Mimic, and it’ll be able to evolve into Sudowoodo after that.

Bonsly will learn Mimic at level 16, so all you have to do after that is level it one more time and it’ll transform into Sudowoodo, giving you access to one of the more popular Psychic Pokemon in the series. If your Bonsly goes past levels 16 to 17 without Mimic, you can always head to the Move Relearner in Pastoria City to help it relearn the move. Once you’ve done that, just level it up once and you should be good to go.

How to Get Bonsly in Pokemon Shining Pearl

Bonsly can be caught exclusively in Pokemon Shining Pearl in the following locations:

  • Route 209
  • Route 210
