New World Marauder Advancement Gladiator Guide: Where to Go After Cutlass Keys

Maraudaur Advancement Gladiator

There’s a lot that Amazon Games’ first MMORPG does right, but questing certainly isn’t its strongest feature. Most boil down to basic fetch quests, and the stories that bind them all together aren’t particularly interesting. In some cases, they aren’t all that easy to follow, either, and if you’re struggling with the Marauder Trial of the Gladiator questline, you aren’t the only one. Here’s a New World Marauder Advancement Gladiator guide for anybody struggling with where to go after Cutlass Keys.

First things first, do make sure you are at least level 24 before taking on this quest, as otherwise, you won’t be able to advance the quest markers and complete it. The quest journal will sometimes state the required level is 20, but this is wrong. It seems that many players are going wrong as a result, so definitely make sure you’re not wasting your time on something your character isn’t able to take part in yet.

Once you’re at the correct level, take on the quest from Cutless Keys Hamlet by speaking with Winifred Silas. Once you have done that, make sure you pin the quest, which should then bring up a new marker to travel southwest from Cutless Keys. There, you will take on a corrupt pirate named Hamidou. After you’ve dealt with him, return to Winifred to collect your bounty.

The reward for this quest is:

  • 1,200 XP
  • 85.50 Coin
  • 100 Tokens
  • 20 Azoth

That does it for our Marauder Advancement Gladiator New World quest guide. For more tips and guides on the game, be sure to check our guide wiki. Alternatively, you should also see some related content for the game below that may prove useful.
