Today Avex Pictures made an extensive new reveal about the upcoming Muv-Luv Alternative anime series.
The air date in Japan is October 6 (in the west, the series will be aired on Crunchyroll) and we get a new and rather dramatic (and awesome) trailer showing the character design of the remaining members of the main cast.
We also learn who their new voice actors are:
Chizuru Sakaki is voiced by Miku Itou, known for roles like Agnes Claudel in The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki, Yuriko Nanao in The Idolmaster, Kokoro Tsurumaki in BanG Dream!, and Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets.
Kei Ayamine is voiced by Iori Saeki, known as Vanilla in Nekopara and Tsubaki in The Quintessential Quintuplets.
Miki Tamase is voiced by Takako Tanaka, who previously voiced Annette in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Hina in Hina Matsuri.
Mikoto Yoroi is voiced by Lynn, whom you’ll likely know as Io in Code Vein, Nico in Devil May Cry 5, Azura in Fire Emblem Fates.
We also get the key visual a more videos showcasing a 360 view of three of the mecha of the series, the Type-97 Fubuki, the Type-94 Shiranui, and the Type-00R Takemikazuchi.
The opening song “Rinne” (reincarnation) is performed by the virtual idol band VWP, while the ending song “Tristar” is by R.O.N.’s Stereo Dive Foundation.
