female farmer overhaul mod

Our first Stardew Valley mod from July 2021 to share with you is one that overhauls the female farmer customization. This mod gives you a much larger variety of choices in all aspects when customizing your farmer, as long as you’ve chosen the female character.

This mod contains 112 new and edited shirts, 5 edited pants, 4 new pants, long sleeve, and short sleeve choices for shirts, 54 new hairstyles of various lengths, three options for brighter hairstyles, dynamic sleeves based on weather, and accessories to give the look of blush, freckles, headbands, and a choker.

Additionally, the mod adds new skin color options, giving it a much larger range than what is available by default.

Please Remember My Marriage

remember my marriage

When you marry an eligible bachelor or bachelorette in Stardew Valley, the character moves in with you and starts a new life. However, their dialogue after marriage is a bit limited, especially in regards to what they have to say about their new married life.

This mod, called Please Remember My Marriage, adds lines of dialogue for each of the villagers after marriage and when their hearts have been maxed out. They will acknowledge their married life and have more to say about being your spouse, making it a bit more realistic and varied.

Immersive Pierre’s Shop

immersive pierre shop

This next mod makes Pierre’s shop more immersive and realistic. It does this in two different ways.

First, there are visual changes to the store’s shelves. Depending on the season and how many days you’ve played, the shelves will look different to reflect what is currently for sale.

The second change is a more functional one: you can approach the shelves and purchase items from them directly instead of as a complete list via Pierre. This adds a layer of immersion that you are truly shopping instead of just asking the cashier to get the items for you (though you can continue to purchase items directly from Pierre if you wish).

Fish Ponds Rebalanced

rebalanced fish ponds

If you’re unhappy with the default fish ponds in Stardew Valley, check out this rebalanced pond mod. It’s a content patcher mod that changes the way fish ponds work.

Fish placed in ponds will breed faster (once a day), and to rebalance this, the fish pond population gate quests have been modified. Roe production scales with the number of fish in each pond, so these quests are readjusted to account for this.

The download page for this mod has a more in-depth explanation of the logic behind these rebalances, including calculations on the breeding and production scales, so that you can see if this is the right mod for you.

Are you a pie or jam enthusiast? If you are, you’ll absolutely need to download this mod. It adds 46 brand-new items to the game that are obtained to three new machines.

You’ll get 23 new kinds of pies with a unique look to each of them, 23 new kinds of jams, and three machines to make the most of them. The jams are obtainable through the fruit smasher machines, while the pies are obtainable through the pie oven machine.

All you have to do to create the jam is combine fruit and sugar. For the pies, you just combine jam and flour.

If you rely on the help of Junimos to complete tasks around your farm, this Better Junimos Forestry mod will make your life even easier. The Junimos will hoe the fields, grow wild trees for timber, look after your trees, clear debris, mow the lawn, and do other forestry-related tasks.

This mod adds ten extra abilities to the Better Junimos mod, which is linked to within this mod’s description.

All you have to do is click your Junimo hut and choose which of these tasks to add to your Junimo’s schedules.

Multi-Biome Farm

multi biome farm

Can’t decide between the Riverland, forest, or beach farms? This multi-biome farm mod gives you a little bit of everything by creating a map that is multiple farm biomes all in one.

Because it has multiple types of biomes all in one farm, the map is much bigger than a standard farm. You’ll get seasonal forage items, beach forage items, and more around the map based on each farm type.

There are also a number of quality of life changes, such as minecarts for faster travel and a quicker passage to the secret woods.

Who needs a horse to get around on a farm when you could have a wolf? This mod gives you a rideable wolf mount for you to travel across Stardew Valley.

That’s really all there is to it. It’s adorable and functional! There are even multiple different colors of wolves to choose from if you want something other than the default white.

Inheritance Starting Funds

Sometimes, people want to make the game a little bit easier without making it totally unfair. If that sounds like your next playthrough of Stardew Valley, check out this inheritance starting funds mod.

All it does is give you a secondary inheritance from Grandpa on the second day of your playthrough. You’ll receive an inheritance of 5000g in a lore-friendly form to make the game a little bit easier in those first few days.

If you want to change the amount, you can do so in the mod files and change it to any custom number in case you want to start off with more or less.

Seasonal Custom Farm Buildings

seasonal custom farm buildings

Finally, this mod makes some seasonal changes to custom farm buildings, giving them new variants depending on the calendar. It adds matching color variants of the mailbox, flooring, shipping bins, craftables, Robin’s construction area, and a custom fence.

The builds each receive a more realistic and natural color scheme and will receive appropriate decorations and updates based on the season. This includes things such as Christmas decorations in the winter, Easter decorations in the spring, beachy decorations in the summer, etc.

There are more features for this mod planned to make it compatible with even more buildings as well as adding details and decorations.
