Today Bandai Namco revealed the first live gameplay of the upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter Gundam Evolution, which was announced last week.
During the long livestream, we got to see two exhibition matches, showing popular mobile suit mecha in action.
You can check them out below.
In case you have missed the original reveal, Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play first-person shooter for PC (Windows 10 is required) that will let you choose a mecha from the franchise and wreak havoc on 6 vs. 6 battles.
There are three modes, point capture, domination, and destruction, and voice chat is supported.
The mecha announced so far are the RX-78-2 Gundam, the RX-80PR Pale Rider, the MS-06 ZAKUⅡ, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos, the MSN-04 Sazabi, the MSA-005 Methuss, the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II, the NRX-044 Asshimar, the ZGMF-XX09T Dom Trooper, the WD-M01 ∀ Gundam, the RX-75 Guntank, and the RGM-79 GM.
Every mobile suit has its own abilities and powerful skills named G-Maneuvers. If you tell me this feels a lot like Valorant with Gundams (and slightly larger teams), I wouldn’t blame you.
A closed beta will be hosted for Japan only on August 8 and August 9 and applications are available here. official service should begin in 2022.
