To sprint in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD, all you need to do is to hold down the B button. This will allow Link to move at a faster speed and get you to where you want quicker.
The game utilizes a stamina meter that will govern how much you can sprint in the game, and also impacts your use of weapons. Be sure to keep an eye on your stamina before going all-out and sprinting everywhere you go in the game. If you run out of stamina, you will be slowed down significantly. More importantly, you will not be able to use your weapons for a few seconds.
Stamina can be refilled using Stamina Fruit, while a Stamina Potion will give you unlimited stamina for three minutes. The duration can be extended with more upgrades.
