The Fortnite week 6 challenges have arrived, and players will once again need to head to different areas around the map to find items, deal damage, and much more. One of the week 6 Epic Quests tasks players with destroying Alien Trees in Fortnite. Destroying the trees themselves isn’t the tricky part of this challenge, but finding them certainly is. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find and destroy alien trees in Fortnite.
This challenge will go live on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 9:00am ET/ 6:00am PT/ 2:00pm BST and will award players 30,000 XP for completing it.
Fortnite Alien Tree Locations
Alien Trees can be found in Holly Hatchery as well as any other places where Alien Nanites have been deployed across the map.
Alien trees are thin and spindly with twisted, colorful branches of pinks, purples and blues. They look distinctly different from regular trees and will only ever be in these low-gravity areas, so check each and every one whenever you spot one.
We’ve included a screenshot of an alien tree in Fortnite below so you know what you’re looking for.
It’s worth noting that as there are only a finite amount of alien trees, you’ll need to be fast as many other players will also be trying to complete this challenge at the same time.
While deploying Alien Nanites will cause a few more alien trees to spawn, there won’t be a ton, so make sure you’re away from busy areas if you do deploy one so you can destroy them all yourself and no other player can pinch them.
If you’re really struggling to destroy alien trees in Fortnite, we recommend leaving it a few days and then returning to Holly Hatchery. As this is an Epic Quest, you’ll be able to complete it any time up until the end of the season, unlike Legendary Quests that are only available for a week.
