Today, the creators of Friday the 13th: The Game and Predator: Hunting Grounds revealed their newest game, Arcadegeddon. News of this upcoming cooperative multiplayer shooter was revealed during Sony’s State of Play, showing off plenty of colorful gameplay, as you can see in the trailer below.
In this unique shooter, you’ll need to work alone or with friends to help save your favorite arcade. To do so, you’ll explore countless biomes, which feature plenty of unique areas, weapons, hidden loot, bosses, and a handful of minigames for your enjoyment.
An official description of the game is listed on its website, and we’ve transcribed it for you right down below.
Arcadegeddon is a cooperative multiplayer game that provides a mix of PVE and PVP experiences that allows for all different speeds of play. As you continue to play you can take on additional challenges from the local “gangs” that hang out in Gilly’s Arcade. These will earn you much more than street cred. Speaking of street cred, earn your spot on the leaderboards.
This ever-evolving multiplayer shooter allows you to play solo or with up to three friends to explore multiple biomes, mini games, find hidden chests, and defeat numerous enemy types and boss levels.
There are nine different gangs to interact with in the arcade, each with an unique style and set of challenges to complete. Completing challenges will unlock Surge Gauntlet Abilities to help you in defeating the arcade’s enemies.
Fun Fun Co. owned enemies and the Data Demons/glitches that have occurred due to Fun Fun Co. tampering are taking over Gilly’s game. FFC enemies are prototypes to their real world weaponry and this is their test site. Gilly needs you in the fight!
Arcadegeddon is available now as an Early Access game for both PS5 and PC players (Epic Game Store). For more information, head on over to their official website.
