At the end of the Warhammer Skulls livestream Frontier Foundry and Complex Games announced Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters.
The title may ring a bell, as this is the follow up to the classic turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000 chaos gate from 1998.
This time around, we’ll play the Imperium’s invincible demon hunters, the Grey Knights in a story penned by well-known Black Library writer Aaron Dembski-Bowden.
Like its predecessor, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will be a turn-based tactical game across a strategic, story-driven campaign in which we’ll face against a galaxy-wide plot to infect worlds with a cosmic plague, The Bloom.
The release window is 2022 and more will be unveiled with a full cinematic trailer in August 2021.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will release for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), and you can already wishlist it on Steam.
