Developer Experiment 101’s first action RPG features one of the most quirky open-worlds we’ve ever played, from the bizarre and vibrant scenery to the wacky place names and the fuzzy mutant creatures who inhabit it. It’s also just really big, too, with lots of side quests and activities to keep you distracted for a long time. But how long does Biomutant take to beat, both if you’re making a beeline through the story or taking your time? Here’s what you need to know.
How Long it Takes to Beat Biomutant
For Twinfinite’s review playthrough, we spent just over 30 hours with Biomutant, in which we ticked off all of the main quest objectives in the game. That includes uniting the different tribes of the world, defeating the World Eaters, and rolling credits on the final sequence of the game.
However, you could easily spend another 20 hours completing everything in the game. There are a lot of side quests in Biomutant. Unfortunately, though, as we mentioned in our review, most of them are more or less fetch quests that simply task you with finding either somebody or something, which isn’t particularly exciting.
That said, if you simply enjoy traversing around the open-world and mastering the game’s martial arts combat system then the game’s side content serves its purpose as giving you a reason to keep playing beyond the 30 or so hours necessary to finish its story.
That does it for how long Biomutant takes to beat. For more useful tips and tricks for the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki. Otherwise, you should see some related content below that may prove helpful.
