Biomutant’s progression systems and role-playing mechanics aren’t too dissimilar to those you will have experienced in other games of the same genre, but there is some strange terminology to get used to. So, here’s how to get Bio Points and what they’re used for in Biomutant if you’re unsure.
How to Get Bio Points & What They’re Used For in Biomutant
Confusingly, Biomutant refers to Bio Points as Bioblobs as well, but they’re exactly the same: the currency used to upgrade your resistance and also unlock Biogenetics.
Biogenetics are basically your abilities and can range from spewing toxic slush in the direction you’re facing, to turning enemies against one another with the Mothmouth attack, or a Mudpunch attack that knocks smaller enemies into the air. These sorts of attacks are best used in tandem with melee combos, and they can also be handy for dispersing crowds of enemies who are attacking you simultaneously.
As for where you get Bio Points, they’re gained from defeating contaminated enemies, referred to as Biocreeps, such as Morks. You can also find them in special contaminated containers that can be found throughout the world.
That does it for how to block and parry attacks in Biomutant. For more useful tips and tricks for the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki. Otherwise, you should see some related content below that may prove helpful.
