Hung Jury is back and it’s a gun that you can now obtain for the first time in Destiny 2. A powerful scout rifle from Destiny, Hung Jury is among a group of D1 powerful and fearsome legendary weapons being brought back via Destiny 2. If you’re here, you’re probably aware of this gun’s return but are wondering how to get Hung Jury in Destiny 2. Here’s what we know so far.
How to Get Hung Jury in Destiny 2
Hung Jury, like the other returning Destiny legendary weapons such as The Palindrome, is obtainable through Nightfall: The Ordeal as a possible strike-specific loot drop. You’ll need to run strikes at high difficulty to give yourself a realistic chance to get this drop.
One of the most oft-requested features in Destiny 2 for quite some time now was the expansion of Nightfall-specific loot in order to give strikes a bit more juice. Bungie made good as of Season of the Chosen and seems to be in the process of using Destiny 1 weapons to spicy up the loot pools of Nightfalls. This has continued into Season of the Splicer.
Go ahead and run the most difficult Nightfall you can handle and pray to the RNG gods that the final chest rewards you with a shiny new scout rifle.
Hung Jury is a precision frame scout rifle with 16 rounds in the mag. It has lots of interesting perk rolls such as Box Breathing, Wellspring, and Surplus, so mentally prepare yourself to grind lots of rolls out over the coming weeks and months.
