Can You Fast Travel in Resident Evil Village? Answered

No, there isn’t any fast travel system in Resident Evil Village. Although in true Resident Evil style you’ll unlock various shortcuts that help to speed up exploration throughout the game, there’s no system that simply transports you from one place to another at the push of a button.

And honestly, while it would make replays slightly more convenient, a fast travel system would rather kill the suspense of creeping around the castle and avoiding the intimidating Lady Dimitrescu, at least in our opinion!

Of course, we’ve seen developers retroactively add mechanics to games post-release, but we don’t think it’s at all likely you’ll ever see one added to Resident Evil Village. But, you can count on us to keep this guide updated if we’re proven wrong.
