Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Reveals a Ton of Gameplay From The Closed Beta

Today Sega revealed a ton of gameplay of the upcoming MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

The gameplay comes straight from the closed beta build, showing off plenty of aspects of the game.

We get to see combat, the Central City in detail, another glimpse at the super-detailed character customization, the new traversal skills that make movement a lot more freeform, and more.

It certainly looks very promising, especially considering that it will work in parallel with Phantasy Star Online 2.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will come for the same platforms as Phantasy Star Online 2 which in the west is (for now) Xbox and PC, while in Japan it will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Recently, we also got to see a glimpse at the new engine that will provide a fresh coat of paint for the original Phantasy Star Online 2, bringing it closer to the standard that Sega is going to set with New Genesis.
