Apex Legends’ Fight Night event has officially kicked off, bringing a boxing twist to the standard battle royale affair. Alongside the ‘Airdrop Escalation’ limited-time mode which sees an increased number of airdrops dropping throughout the course of a game with high-rarity loot with a complete set of attachments included, there will also be Fight Night Packs for players to unlock some fancy new cosmetics. For any of your collector-maniacs out there, you may be wondering how you can nab some of these packs for yourself.
How to Get Fight Night Packs in Apex Legends
Fight Night Packs must be purchased for 700 Apex Coins within the in-game store. They’re actually called ‘Event Packs,’ as only one event takes place in Apex Legends at any one time.
Unfortunately, players no longer two free event packs as was the case in the Iron Crown event. You simply have to buy them instead.
Opening a pack gives you the chance to get one of the 24 new, limited-time cosmetics, and two non-event items. EA has provided the drop rates for both event and non-event items for these special Event Apex Packs in the image below.
Buying Fight Night Event Items
If you’d rather not try your luck with Fight Night Packs, you can just buy each of the 24 new event items for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals, though keep in mind the prices for these varies depending on rarity, and they can be fairly expensive. Still, if you’re looking to just get a particular item that’s taken your fancy, this is the cheaper, guaranteed way to get it for yourself.
Gibraltar Heirloom
If you collect all 24 of the Fight Night event items, you’ll unlock the Gibraltar Heirloom item, pictured below.
Once the event has ended, you’ll be able to craft it via the Heirloom Crafting system in-game.
