Aquatic Plant
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
Starting off the list of some of the best new Stardew Valley mods released this past month of November 2020, we have one that adds a bunch of new aquatic crops and plants to your game.
In all there are 13 new crops in this mod, this includes 12 paddy crops and a bonus crop ‘Paper Mulberry’ which is traditional Korean paper made using the bark of paper mulberry tree.
The crops are season specific, but there are none in the winter months. Most of the crops will grow only in the summer, with three that can grow in the fall and one that can grow in the spring as well.
Custom NPC Exclusions
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This next mod allows you to exclude NPCs from randomized delivery quests and other events.
If you have some custom NPCs but are still trying to stick to the main story, this mod will allow you to exclude those NPCs specifically so you can experience the story as the developer intended.
It will also limit if those custom NPCs can request things delivered, which might make sense for certain custom characters who don’t actually reside in Pelican Bay.
Piano Valley
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
The normal Stardew Valley music is amazing, but for some variety this mod allows you to replace some of those songs with piano covers for a more relaxing atmosphere.
It includes piano covers of 22 original Stardew Valley songs which will replace the music files of the originals.
The music comes from creators such as Pally, PAldousMusic, and Naru’s Composition.
There is said to be more music on the way as the modder waits for more express permissions to use the music.
Configurable Cellar and Cave
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This next inclusion is actually two mods from the same creator BoogieBest, one that offers an overhaul of the farm cave and the other which adds new areas to the cellar.
The farm cave is expanded to offer more room to store crops and machines to produce items year round. It even has an elevator to a second, deeper level with an additional 50 plus tiles of space.
The cellar mod makes it look nice and clean, there’s more space, an area with tillable tiles like in the greenhouse, and a waterplace that works with your watering can.
Both mods are fully configurable as well, so you can make them look however you want.
Flower UI Dialogue Boxes
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This mod adds some beautiful flowers designs to the sides of dialogue UI boxes in Stardew Valley.
There are four different flower designs to use, and it’s sure to make your conversations with NPCs a little more pretty to look at.
Portrait Upgrades
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This next mod offers an overhaul of the game’s vanilla portraits.
It seeks to smooth out all the portraits in order to make the art style consistent, and every single character’s portrait has been touched up while trying to stay true to their original design.
It’s a small change that might make your conversations with the local people in town just feel a little more cohesive.
More Hairstyles
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This mod includes a ton of hairstyles to use on your farmer’s sprite, with a bunch of new hair colors for each as well.
There are 24 hairstyles for the farmer in total, and 12 colors for each of those styles.
This includes long hair styles, ponytails, braids, buns, pixie cuts, and much more.
Tiny Crafting Menus
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
This mod was one of the most popular ones out last month, granting players a tinier crafting menu with better functionality.
Production and consumption recipes will now show up first on the menu, with less commons recipes showing up on the last pages.
There are a ton of customization options so you can tweak how you want the menus to appear yourself through this mod as well.
More Quests
New Stardew Valley Mods November 2020
Who wouldn’t want more quests in Stardew Valley? It’s just more content after all.
This mod adds approximately 50 different custom quests to your main game for you to play, and you receive them by mail on certain months.
They start arriving on spring of the first year until winter of the second year, with five to seven quests a month arriving to your farmer by mail.
