After a turbulent summer, Manchester United signed free agent Edinson Cavani on deadline day. This weekend, shortly before the writing of this guide, the Uruguayan scored two goals as Utd came back from two down to beat Southampton, leading to fans wondering if he’ll make the new Team of the Week. Before that eventuality, whether Edinson Cavani is in FIFA 21 at all needs to be clearer up. We’ve got everything you need to know.
Is Edinson Cavani in FIFA 21?
Even though Cavani has been an official Manchester United player for a couple of months, he’s not in every mode of FIFA 21. As of right now, he doesn’t have a card in Ultimate Team, but he is in the standard kick off and offline modes.
He was a free agent when the game released, but it’s still strange that he’s not had a card added since, especially since he’s such a well known player from such a big club.
I’d have expected him to be added in by now, but he hasn’t for some reason. He almost certainly will be added by the time Winter Refresh comes around in early February or sooner. What his ratings will be, we don’t know, but he’ll be added eventually.
That does mean that he won’t be part of Team of the Week 10 this week, unless EA Sports add him to the game suddenly. Utd fans will have to hope that he scores some more goals in the new year.
