How to Catch Red Banopper in Bugsnax
Once you enter the Boiling Bay area, you’ll spot a couple of trees ahead of you that will be shaking around a little bit. This is the Red Banopper, and it hops from tree and tree and will not drop down unless it’s hit with something.
Hold L1 to open up your tool kit and then use the right stick to select your Trip Shot. Deploy it with R2 and place it on the rocky area near the stream of lava, which you can see in the image below.
You’re going to want to aim it at the long piece of wood that stands between two of the trees, perfectly lining it up at the spot where the Red Banopper flies through.
If you’ve done it correctly, the Banopper will slam into your Trip Shot and will then fall on the ground, and you just need to go up to it and grab it –no trap needed. Just make sure to catch it before the timer runs out or else it’ll go back into the trees.
