There are lots of different gear sets and weapons to collect in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, each offering Evior different perks and buffs. But beyond their standard form, there’s also the option to upgrade them for even better stats. This will, however, require special resources. Here’s how to get Nickel Ingot in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla if you’re struggling to find it.
How to Get Nickel Ingot in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
If you’ve been playing Valhalla for even a small amount of time you’ll be familiar with the gold orbs dotted around the map, which are either items of gear, books of knowledge, or rare resources.
Nickel Ingot falls into that last category, though in our experience it’s much rarer than Carbon Ingot. So much so, in fact, that after about 15 hours of playing Valhalla we’d only found a single Nickel Ingot to about ten Carbon ones.
Thankfully for you, we took a snapshot of its location, which you can see below. Note that it’s already been collected, which is why you won’t see the resource icon, but if you visit King’s Bury in East Anglia and use your Odin’s sight, you’ll be able to locate it quite easily.
If you weren’t already aware, after you discover a resource in Valhalla even once, it will then become readily available at any Merchant you visit from then on. So, all you need to do is find that one Nickel Ingot and then you’re set.
The only down side to relying on the Merchant for Nickel Ingot is that it’s very expensive, costing 200 Silver. Still, since most other resources and materials in the game are fairly cheap, you should have a decent stock of Silver saved up.
Once you have your Nickel Ingot, you can head to the blacksmith at your settlement and upgrade your gear.
