Bugsnax is a new indie adventure/puzzle game from developer Young Horses. You play as a journalist who is trying to find out what happened to an explorer named Elizabert Megafig. By exploring the island of Snaktooth, speaking to the residents, and catching lots of delicious half-bug half-snack creatures, you’ll uncover the secret behind Bugsnax. Catching some of these snacks can prove to be challenging, so here’s how to catch Snaquiri in Bugsnax.
How to Catch Snaquiri in Bugsnax
The Snaquiri can be found in one of the early levels in the game and resembles a tasty alcoholic beverage with a cute mini umbrella sticking out of it. You’ll spot it in the beach-themed area flying in and out of a geyser.
Trying to jump and grab it doesn’t work (believe me, I’ve tried it a lot), but there is a way to capture it by using your Snak Trap and you don’t even need to use a sauce or another Bugsnak to grab it.
All you need to do is simply place the trap at the bottom of the geyser and once the Snaquiri falls back down, you’ll have a quick second to capture it in your trap if all goes smoothly.
Like any other Bugsnak, you just need to snatch it out of the trap before the timer runs out. If you want to catch this creature again, it should load back up in the same spot if you leave the area and then come back later.
