What You Need to Know for Trails of Cold Steel 4 Not Downloading

The first important thing is that this is only happening to those who pre-ordered the digital deluxe version of Trails of Cold Steel 4, anyone who got it on launch day has already been able to download and play. It’s worth noting there weren’t any other options for pre-order, the standard edition wasn’t on the store.

There’s not much else to know as at this time, NIS America sent out a tweet 19 hours ago acknowledging there is an issue, but there hasn’t been any further word on the matter.

There hasn’t been any official word from PlayStation, and no one has been able to figure out any workarounds. While the PlayStation support twitter, @Ask PlayStation has responded to those seeking help with Trails of Cold Steel 4, it seems nothing has come from it.

While it’s not the best solution considering what you originally paid for, there’s always the option of contacting PlayStation support either by scrolling to the bottom of the webpage or dialing the support number: 1-800-345-7669. Non-US/Canada support numbers can be found here.

If you’re reading the guide, just know you aren’t alone, this is a widespread issue and while it’s certainly frustrating, it is at least a known problem.

We will update this guide when we have more information to pass along.
