It’s easy enough to reach Tyrunt’s location — just wander around the overworld in the Ballimere Lake area. That said, the amount of time it takes for one to show up can be a little long in the tooth. Just keep searching around until one pops up.

As for evolving Tyrunt into Tyrantrum, that requires a rather unusual technique.

Its evolution only occurs during a specific time of the day, namely, between 4 am and 6 pm (during the daytime) local time. The only other requirement is that you have leveled your Tyrunt to at least 36.

Remember, all Pokemon level-up after being used in battle, but you can always use experience candy to level them more quickly. Candy comes in different sizes that each give a different XP boost, which is as follows:

  • XL – 30000
  • L – 10000
  • M – 3000
  • S – 800
  • XS – 100

Of course, Rare Candy is especially handy since it immediately boosts your Pokemon by a single level without having to train it at all.

That is everything you need to know on how to get catch and evolve Tyrunt in Pokemon Crown Tundra. For more tips and tricks, check out our wiki or have a browse through more of our coverage below.
