Nanotubes in Marvel’s Avengers Game are one of the upgrade materials. These are used to boost a piece of gear’s overall Power rating, which can in turn affect your superhero’s overall Power rating. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to get Nanotubes in Avengers Game.
Getting Nanotubes in Avengers Game
To get Nanotubes, you’ll need to break blue resource crates and defeat various enemies throughout the missions.
Blue resource crates are silver cubes with a blue glow in the center of them. They’re the same crates you’ll get all your resources out of such as Fragments, Plasma and Catalysts.
On top of the blue resource crates, Nanotubes can also be dropped as a reward for defeating enemies. If one does drop, you’ll notice it appear on the right-hand side of the screen when you pick it up.
Finally, dismantling your old gear gives you a chance of harvesting some form of resource material, be it Fragments, Nanotubes, Catalysts, or Plasma. It’s seemingly random, so you’re taking a small risk doing it since you may not receive the resource you’re after, but if you’re really strapped for Nanotubes then this is an option worth considering.
Using Nanotubes in Marvel’s Avengers
To use Nanotubes, press the touchpad on PS4 or the Views button on Xbox One and go to your ‘Gear’ tab. Select the piece of gear you want to upgrade and a window will appear.
At the bottom of the window detailing that piece of Gear, it’ll inform you what resource materials you need, as well as how many. As long as you’ve got the required resources, you can then press and hold Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One to boost your gear, improving its overall power score.
Keep in mind that all the resources you’ll need to boost your gear can change each time you do it, so you’ll need to constantly be building your supply of all resource materials, not just Nanotubes.
