Getting Comet Rocks in Spiritfarer

Comet Rocks can only be harvested in set locations during specific events known as Comet Showers. These locations can be found in the lower right section of the map marked by sparkling water and a specific symbol that looks like shooting stars.

The image below shows their location and what you’re looking for.

However, you’ll need to have both met Giovanni and have the Rock Destroyer upgrade from Albert’s Shipyard. Giovanni will introduce the Comet Shower event to you and the Rock Destroyer is necessary for traveling to the lower right portion of the map.

The Rock Destroyer needs 10 Aluminum Ingots, 8 Marble, 6 Fireglow, and 2 Spirit Flowers and Giovanni can be found through progression in Astrid’s questline. Concurrently, Astrid can be found at Bottom Line Corp. where you’ll need to complete a quest to have her join.

If you have everything that’s necessary, traveling to the middle of this location and talking to Giovanni will initiate the event for you. You’ll know you’re in the right place if the world suddenly changes to night.

For a limited time, Comets will shoot down from the sky and land on your ship. You’ll have to walk over them to acquire Comet Rocks.

Depending on the layout of your ship, the Comets will land a bit differently but, overall, this event isn’t too hard or demanding. You’ll generally end up with a good amount of Comet Rocks too each time so you won’t need to do this too often.
