How to Upgrade Weapons & Armor in Rogue Legacy 2

You’ll need to purchase the Blacksmith upgrade for your castle, which becomes available to you after finding a blueprint for the first time.

Then, before you enter the castle on each run, you can talk to the Blacksmith and spend any gold you’ve earned on some upgrades for your weapons and armor.

You’ll get gold during runs for things like destroying items and defeating enemies. There are also some character builds that increase the amount of gold you earn.

Then, unlike progress made through the game, any upgrades for weapons and armor that you unlock for characters carry over after death, helping to make the next run easier for each descendant.

The more upgrades you unlock for your weapons and armor, the easier it will be and the further you’ll be able to make it through the stages of the castle. You’ll need quite a few to be able to take on those super tough bosses in Rogue Legacy 2, trust us.
