How to Unlock the Bruen in Modern Warfare & Warzone

In order to unlock the Bruen for both multiplayer and Warzone in modern Warfare you’ll need to complete a specific challenge. This can be found in the LMG section of the weapon menu.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the LMG tab, you’ll see the Bruen. The challenge requires you to get three kills with an LMG while near smoke across 15 matches.

This is very difficult to do in Warzone, so you’ll want to do this in the multiplayer modes if possible. The easiest way to accomplish this challenge is when Shipment 24/7 is in rotation.

Shipment, which is the smallest map in the game, will allow you to rack up kills near smoke quickly. The map is small enough that just about no matter where you stand, it will count towards the challenge.

Of course, this is still going to take some time, but it will be worth it because the Bruen is currently the go-to gun in Warzone. It’s large clip, high damage, and low recoil make it an excellent pick for your custom loadout.

Since Shipment 24/7 isn’t always in rotation, a more consistent way to get these kills would be to attach a thermal scope to any LMG you like using. Thermal optics can see through the smoke, which will make picking off your targets much more manageable.

Any game mode like Team Deathmatch, Ground War, or Hardpoint, which all have high respawn rates are great for this.

Well, that’s everything you need to know about how to unlock the Bruen in Modern Warfare. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Modern Warfare Wiki.
